During October 1st and 2nd this year, I attended the DMEF Direct/Interactive Marketing Research Summit in Boston, MA which took place at the Westin Boston Waterfront.

The Summit is the preeminent and must-attend conference for academics, Ph.D. candidates, and practitioners who are interested in pursuing research and teaching in the field of direct/interactive marketing.

Dr Arcand from ESG-UQAM and I, we presented a paper there titled: Website Sociability and Flexibility in Relation to Customer Online Satisfaction:A Research Framework

Website sociability and flexibility in relation to customer online satisfaction

At the DMEF Direct/Interactive Marketing Research Summit, Donna L. Hoffman, Ph.D., the Albert O. Steffey Professor of Marketing and co-Director of the Sloan Center for Internet Retailing at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Riverside, received the DMEF Robert B. Clarke Outstanding Educator Award.

Dirk Van den Poel, Professor of Marketing at Ghent University in Belgium, made an interesting personal report of the conferences he attended and enjoyed the most, with lots of pictures! :)

If you are interested to register and participate in 2012, the next DMEF research Summit will take place in Vegas!
